Terms of Use

The service

Redline turns a long http or https address into a shorter link and sends visitors to that destination. Redline does not host the page, file, or video at the end of the link. It only redirects.

By creating a short link, or by opening one, you agree to these terms and to the Data Policy.

Creating a link

You may shorten any valid http or https URL: a page, file, video, store, campaign, or adult content. Redline does not review or filter the destination before the link is created.

You are responsible for the address you submit and for having the right to share it. A custom alias, when you set one, must follow the name rules shown on the site.

Opening a link

A short link opens a waiting page. After 20 seconds, the Get link button unlocks and continues to the stored destination. If the owner has paused or deleted the link, Redline shows a notice instead.

Control of the desk

The person who operates this Redline desk can pause, edit, or delete any short link. Deleting a link removes its destination and its click history from this server.

Availability

The desk is provided as available. Links can stop working if the server is offline, the destination changes, or the operator removes the short link. Redline does not promise that a short link will keep working for any particular time.

Changes

These terms can be updated. The date at the top of this page is the version that applies. Continued use of the desk after an update means you accept the revised terms.
